Ireland Waves trip 2009
September 12th- September19th 2009, Dingle, Ireland
So that time of year has come around again and we are off to wave heaven in Southern Ireland. Last years wave trip saw some epic conditions and some great learning curves for all. We have switched the dates this year a little to avoid the holidays (stops those beaches getting so rammed!)
This year will see us staying, as ever in or around Dingle in self catering accommodation. The conditions are for the wave riders, the water is still fairly warm at that time of year and the waves are some of the best in the world.
We will be travelling by ferry from Holyhead to Dublin and then doing the cannonball run across Ireland as usual.
Costs- The increased costs of everything including the ferry has changed our costings again so this years trip costs £425 per person. The average mileage over the week is approx 1200 miles and the cost of this is split between the vehicle driver and passengers.
